RBS SAIL- Scholarship Program

The RBS Office of Social Mobility, Access, Innovation, and Leadership (RBS SAIL Office) oversees a growing list of needs-based and merit-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate business students. At RBS we understand and value the ability to provide supplemental funding and resources to assist students and families.

All eligible incoming and current RBS students are encouraged and welcome to apply.

The RBS SAIL Office provides one application for all scholarships. Students will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible and must apply each year for consideration. Scholarships range from $500 to $10,000 per academic year. Renewal is possible but not assured. Scholarship applications are accepted year-round. We welcome all entries that meet our criteria.

Who should apply to the RBS SAIL Scholarship Program?

• All eligible incoming and current RBS students are encouraged and welcome to apply.
• Students with a financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA application on file in the Office of Financial Aid.
  • The first step for anyone applying for any type of financial aid, including scholarships, is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

In addition to an RBS SAIL Scholarship Program Application, applicants must also provide an updated resume and a typewritten essay that focuses on the topics below:

• What challenges do young people like yourself face in your community, and how do you plan to use your degree to help address those issues and create a positive impact?
• How have your personal experiences, background, and academic journey prepared you to become a change leader at Rutgers Business School and beyond? How will you apply RBS IDEA-SAIL core principles as you work toward achieving your academic, personal, and professional goals?

Essays must be a minimum of 400 words and should not exceed 750 words
