RBS Cares

Our mission is to provide assistance to causes RBS, RU-wide, community-wide in areas surrounding our campuses and eventually state, national and international with a wide focus (people, animals, environment, etc.). We will not become involved with student led initiatives however we will partner with outside agencies (internally with other RU departments and externally with local police, hospitals, social service agency, etc.).

Dean's Staff Advisory Committee

The mission of the Dean's Staff Advisory Committee is to provide staff a voice to senior RBS leadership while working on improving the culture of Rutgers Business School through standardized communication, resource, respect for diversity, a commitment to professional growth, and creating a centralized forum to bridge the gap between Newark and New Brunswick. Work together to maintain a high standard for all staff members.

Professional Development Committee

The purpose of the Professional Development Committee is to develop a policy and process to provide professional development opportunities to our staff.  Professional Development opportunities are provided at the group and/or individual level.

Criteria to serve on the Professional Development Committee

  • appointed for one (1) year beginning June 1st
  • work with the Associate Dean of Administration & Finance to identify professional development activities
  • attend monthly meetings
  • representation across all major groups (administration, academic support services, student services, technology & centers). HR and Finance representatives from the Dean’s Office may serve in advisory capacity only.

Applications to serve on the committee accepted April 1 – April 30.
