CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GRADUATING STUDENTS!
It’s time to celebrate this very significant accomplishment. Be sure to join the graduation festivities in recognition of your achievement, as proud family, friends, faculty, and staff cheer you on.
Graduation comprises of two significant events to celebrate your achievement: The Rutgers Business School convocation and the Rutgers University-New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences convocation at SHI Stadium. At the first event, you will join your business school graduating class, walk across the stage, and receive individual recognition. The second ceremony is where all the Rutgers schools celebrate together. We hope you will plan to participate in both ceremonies for the whole experience.

Information for 2025 will come during the fall semester.
Seniors who have completed their degree requirements in January 2024 or will be completing their degree requirements in May 2024 or August 2024 are permitted to walk in the RBS Convocation on May 9, 2024.
Registration for Convocation
Registration for the May 9, 2024 convocation will close Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Graduating seniors have been sent several emails from Marching Order to register for the RBS convocation/graduation. A completed online registration form through Marching Order is required to attend the ceremony, add tickets (4 max), include a message/photo for display on the jumbotron, and confirm the pronunciation of your name.
Please note that the RBS ceremony will last approximately 2.5 hours, so please plan accordingly. Graduates will not be permitted to leave during the ceremony. Leaving before the end of the ceremony disrupts those families whose candidates have not yet been acknowledged. Please return to your seat after you have been recognized. Graduates are encouraged to use the restroom before the start of the ceremony.
GRADUATES SHOULD ARRIVE AT 1:30 WHEN THE DOORS OPEN.
Arrival Information
The doors to Jersey Mike’s Arena will open at approximately 1:30 pm. When graduates arrive, they should proceed down the North and South hallways toward the back of the arena and proceed down the stairs to the student graduate seats on the floor level. Graduates must check in with their corresponding major to receive their personalized graduation card from an RBS marshal before being seated according to their first major.
After the speeches are concluded, graduates will approach the platform with their fellow classmates in their major. Once each graduate’s name is called, they will walk across the stage and receive their RBS diploma folder.
Diploma Information
Diplomas are not given out at the RBS Convocation Ceremony. Click here to access the Online Diploma Application.
Diplomas will be mailed to the address listed on your diploma application approximately 6-8 weeks after graduation.
Invitations/Tickets
Students can bring up to four (4) guests. Regrettably, we cannot provide more than four tickets per graduate due to the arena's capacity constraints and our commitment to prioritizing your safety. Graduates will be allowed to distribute electronic tickets to a maximum of 4 guests through the registration process on Marching Orders. Entrance to the convocation will be granted solely to guests who possess tickets.
Graduating with Honors
College Honors cords will be available to students with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above as of the Fall 2023 semester. No exceptions will be made. See below for pick up schedule.

Your feedback matters! As you prepare to embark on your next chapter after graduation, we kindly request your participation in two important surveys. Your insights will help us to continually improve.
Completing these surveys is not only an opportunity to reflect on your academic journey but also a chance to shape the experiences of future students.
Please keep an eye on your Rutgers email account (@scarletmail.rutgers.edu or @rutgers.edu) for the surveys. We understand that emails can sometimes end up in spam folders, so be sure to check there too. Your time and input are invaluable to us. Thank you in advance for your participation in this.
