Rutgers Business School Newark Graduate School Convocation
Tuesday, May 19, 2026
Time – 4:00-6:00 pm
Place – NJPAC (Newark, NJ)
Doors open: 3:00 pm to guests enter through the left side of NJPAC
(2:45 pm graduates to enter through the right side of NJPAC)
Faculty Line-up begins: 3:00 pm (second floor at NJPAC, enter through the right side of NJPAC)
Staff Working at NJPAC: Please arrive by 2:30 PM (enter through the right side of NJPAC)
It’s time to celebrate this very significant accomplishment. Be sure to join the graduation festivities in recognition of your achievement as proud family, friends, faculty, and staff cheer you on. The ceremony begins Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at 4 PM at NJPAC.
Students should arrive by 2:45PM and Guests at 3 PM.
Please note that the May 19th convocation will take approximately 2 hours, so plan accordingly. Out of respect for all graduates, graduates will not be permitted to leave early. You should remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony.
The ceremony will be streamed online for those who cannot make it in person.
The live streaming link will go live at 3:55 PM.

The deadline to register for convocation via Tassel (our commencement software) is April 26, 2026. If you have not applied for graduation, you have missed the deadline (March 1). Please contact your program coordinator immediately.

Applying for Diploma
Graduate Students: To be eligible to graduate from Rutgers and receive a diploma, students should visit the Online Diploma Application page. Students will be asked to submit basic information (name as it should appear on a diploma, contact information, etc.). If you have any questions, please contact your assistant dean, academic advisor, coordinator, or program director (link above). May graduate application deadline is March 1.

You will have plenty of time to walk to NJPAC for the ceremony afterward.
For those who prefer not to walk, a shuttle will be provided.
