What All Graduates Should Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is there a rehearsal for convocation?

A. There will not be a rehearsal for students. All necessary information will be relayed to you prior to the convocation and check-in at NJPAC is at 2:45 PM.

Q. How many guests can I invite to the convocation?

A. Graduates who indicated "attending" the convocation are entitled to three (3) complimentary tickets for their guests. All graduates must input their guests' names and email addresses via the Marching Order website. This is the website all graduates will use to register themselves. Everyone who enters the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) must have a ticket, including infants (babies-in-arms) and children. If you need additional tickets, please ask your classmates if they are not using all of their tickets. RBS is unable to give out any extra tickets.

A. In general, business casual is highly recommended. Shoes should be comfortable. Women are encouraged to consider wearing low pumps or flats.

In addition to RU-N parking, graduates and their families can park at NJPAC. We found that in previous years many students chose to park there for the convenience of their guests. Look for Parking Lots A and C, adjacent east of the building. Each of these lots contain special parking locations for handicapped patrons.
