Full-Time MBA Online Student Orientation

Orientation Homepage

Please have a look here for any 2025 Full-Time MBA Orientation Information.

This online portion of Orientation provides resources to incoming Full-Time MBA Students. Please take about 2-3 hours to review all the materials listed on this page and on this page too. At the end of this Orientation, two certifications are required: an Academic Integrity and Code of Conduct certification and an Orientation certification. There will also be a required survey which should be completed at the end of August. This online Orientation does not substitute for the in-person sessions that are required for all incoming students to attend.

All students must activate a Rutgers unique identifier known as a NetID, comprised of initials and a unique number (e.g., jqs23), to access any electronic services, including access to the MBA courses with online materials available via CANVAS (Learning Management System).

Please activate your NetID

Rutgers STEM MBA

You can now choose to earn a STEM degree with any of our MBA concentrations. To be eligible, you must complete 50% of your total required course credits in STEM-designated courses.

This designation opens new opportunities for you to customize your curriculum to align with your career goals and applies to all MBA concentrations. There is significant value to MBA candidates who earn this designation. Businesses today are more data-driven than before and are looking for employees who can take their analytics to another level. STEM signals to employers that you have the training and skills to tackle this challenge. Also, the hard skills that you learn are transferrable across industries and functions, which strengthens your ability to transition in your career.

If you choose to pursue a STEM designation, make sure to speak with your Assistant Dean to ensure you plan your curriculum to meet the requirements. International alumnus currently under OPT who meet this requirement are eligible for extended OPT. Contact Marc Limata in the Full-Time MBA Office if you would like to request a review of your transcript.
