RBS GROWS utilizes a small-group mentoring model to offer students industry insights and expose them to potential career pathways. RBS GROWS offers you the opportunity to receive guidance and professional planning advice from women professionals in industry. This group mentoring program lays the foundation for motivated students to gain the confidence and skills necessary to succeed as a woman in business.
RBS GROWS offers a unique opportunity to participate in a professional development loop. This group mentoring program works in partnership with the Center for Women in Business (CWIB) at Rutgers. It connects RBS women undergraduates with mid-career professionals who have been mentored in CWIB’s newly launched mentoring program, G.R.O.W. (Gaining and Retaining Outstanding Women).

Program Structure
RBS GROWS offers a unique opportunity for RBS women undergraduates to gain impactful mentoring from women working in industry.
- Mentoring Group Size: 10 – 15 students
- Duration of program: One semester (4-5 months)
- Approximate Time Commitment: 6 hours total
Program Requirements include:
- Attend RBS GROWS orientation (1 hour)
- Attend 4 small-group mentoring sessions (1 hour each)
- Complete the pre- and post-program surveys
Students who complete the program receive a Certificate of Achievement.
Eligibility
- Be an RBS Woman Undergraduate
- Be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or above
Joining RBS GROWS
The RBS GROWS program is offered every Fall and Spring semester. Program recruitment occurs the semester or summer prior to the start of the program. During this period, students will receive advertisements inviting them to apply. Eligible students can submit an application via the link included in advertisements. Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program and asked to confirm their spot.
