The Executive Committee has delegated to the Coordinating Committee responsibility for recommending membership in the program’s faculty and for approving changes in curricular requirements for individual majors.
The Coordinating Committee’s recommendations on membership go to the Dean of the Graduate School-Newark, who appoints faculty members from Rutgers and NJIT to the Faculty of the Program. The Dean of the Graduate School may request further review of a recommendation by the Graduate School's Committee on Faculty and Student Review.
Curricular changes considered by the Coordinating Committee must first be proposed by the Departmental Doctoral Committee for the major concerned and approved by the Program Director. They must respect the general curricular requirements for the program, which have been established by the Executive Committee and approved by the Faculty of the Rutgers Graduate School-Newark.
The Coordinating Committee consists of the doctoral coordinators for the RBS departments that supervise majors in the program. These are:
- Accounting and Information Systems
- Finance and Economics
- Management Science and Information Systems
- Management and Global Business
- Marketing
- Supply Chain Management
The Dean of RBS also appoints a representative who serves as an ex-officio member of the committee.
