Finance focuses on all aspects of money management, such as investment, collection, disbursement, borrowing, and fundraising. These individuals prepare financial reports needed to conduct operations and to satisfy tax and regulatory requirements.
Notes:
- Students interested in this concentration must submit a concentration declaration form before enrolling in concentration courses.
- A grade of B or higher is required in 33:390:300 to declare the finance major or finance concentration and to take any additional courses in the finance department.
- You may not declare a Finance concentration if you have a Finance major.
- Courses may not be double-counted between RBS majors and RBS concentrations. All concentration courses must be completed in addition to the courses required for an RBS major. Please note: Degree Navigator does not identify or remove courses that are double-counted. Students are responsible for ensuring that concentration courses do not overlap with the major requirements.
- Upon graduation, successful completion of the concentration will be recorded on the student’s final transcript as a certificate. The concentration will not appear on the transcript prior to graduation.
