President

Pratik Banala has 2 years of work experience as a data analyst for Xfinity, helping to identify and resolve hundreds of device errors to inform executive decision-making for improvement of customer experience. Pratik is building upon his B.S in Economics and Statistics from The Ohio State University as a full-time MBA student at Rutgers Business School, currently pursuing concentrations in Finance and Analytics.
As the President of REEFS, Pratik hopes to embed a sustainability-forward mindset in all of his peers through open discussion and group events. He aims to help introduce others to ways that both individuals and businesses can be mindful of their environmental impact, while learning these valuable skills himself.
In his free time, Pratik is an avid sports fan and a movie fanatic, and you can always find him with his AirPods in, working on the daily New York Times puzzles.
Vice President

Alex Tager is an MBA Candidate at Rutgers University specializing in Finance. He has six years of healthcare consulting experience, specifically working with providers to improve operations, increase cash flow, and drive up revenue. He has conducted revenue cycle assessments, optimized workflows, and improved key performance indicators for major healthcare organizations. His expertise includes data analytics, billing optimization, and financial process improvements, contributing to multimillion-dollar revenue gains for his clients. Prior to obtaining his MBA, Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University-University Park.
As the Vice President of REEFS, Alex strives to foster a sustainability-focused mindset among his peers through engaging discussions and collaborative events. He is most interested in helping bridge the gap between sustainability and business. Alex would like to leverage the Rutgers network to assist in bringing in guest speakers and organizing unifying events to spread awareness on the importance of sustainability and its impact on the economy.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Alex is a diehard sports fan that enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, on the golf course, or trying new restaurants in the tri-state area.
