MQF Club

The MQF Club, under the Student Government Association at the Rutgers Business School, serves as a dynamic platform for students enrolled in the Master of Quantitative Finance program. This vibrant community provides a unique space for students to engage with industry professionals, esteemed alumni, and peers from diverse academic institutions specializing in quantitative finance. Through a series of events, the MQF Club facilitates networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. The club plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive community that enhances the academic and professional journey of its members, creating an environment where students can gain insights, build connections, and thrive in the field of quantitative finance.

Amogh Krishnan
Amogh Krishnan

Amogh is a full-time MQF (Masters of Quantitative Finance) student. He completed his CFA in 2022 and was working in Investment Banking focused on the BFSI sector. Prior to that, he spent ~3 years in management consulting and venture capital working directly with founders in setting up a $50 million fund focused on Seed and Series A funding for BankTech startups in India. WIth the MQF program, Amogh aims to complement his knowledge of the fundamentals of finance with the quantitative side to gain a holistic understanding of the financial sector.

Karen Rodriguez
Karen Rodriguez

Karen is a full time MQF (Master of Quantitative Finance) student. She received her undergraduate at the University of South Florida where she majored in Pure Mathematics. Upon graduating from her undergrad, Karen briefly worked at a commercial real estate firm where she worked in their insurance department. She then began a fellowship with the Department of Energy where she assists with program implementation while pursuing her masters at Rutgers. Karen is excited about her future at Rutgers and is hoping to break through the finance industry upon completing her degree.

Erya Jain
Erya Jain

Erya is a full time MQF (Master of Quantitative Finance) student. She completed her undergraduation from Institute of Management, Nirma University in Bachelor of Business Administration. During her undergraduation, she confronted diverse academic challenges, hands-on projects, research undertakings, immersive internships, and personal triumphs. Upon graduating, Erya briefly worked at an accounting organization as an audit and accounts manager where she conducted internal audits and prepared credit monitoring analysis reports. The evolving nature of finance demands professionals who can navigate complex data landscapes, and a Master's degree in quantitative finance is Erya’s strategic investment to meet this demand.
