Our mission is to promote and encourage professional networking and social interaction among Black & Hispanic MBA students, Rutgers Business School, and the corporate sector.

Our goals include the following:

  • Increase the number of underrepresented minorities in the MBA program as well as in the corporate world by fostering mentoring relationships with alumni to MBA’s
  • Promote and coordinate with local chapters, like NSHMBA & NBMBA, for networking events
  • Host speaker events for students to learn about topics like networking and career progression

Brandon L. Rodriguez
Brandon L. Rodriguez

Brandon Rodriguez is a full-time MBA candidate specializing in Supply Chain Management. As an Afro-Latino student, Brandon is passionate about Black and Hispanic representation within the student body, and aims to foster connections across the broader MBA community through events, engagements, and outreach efforts. As president, Brandon is committed to the growth in the number of aspiring Black and Hispanic professionals in both academia and in the corporate sector. 

Prior to pursuing his MBA at Rutgers Business School, Brandon completed his undergraduate studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey, earning his B.A. with a double major in Economics and Literature. Upon graduation, Brandon’s professional journey consisted of managerial roles in retail and logistics. Not long after, however, Brandon answered the call to service, becoming a member of the United States Coast Guard. During his tenure in the Coast Guard, Brandon played a critical role in numerous life-saving missions, as well as security operations for some of the nation’s most vital ports and waterways. Four years and several awards and accolades later, he is now a proud and accomplished veteran. 

In his free time, Brandon is an avid combat sports fan, reader, and traveler.
