Mission
Founded in 2005, Ascend (also known as Ascend: Pan Asian Leaders) is a national pre-professional nonprofit organization to empower and represent primarily Asian-Americans in business.
About
We are the Rutgers - Newark chapter of Ascend, currently in the process of reactivation. Our chapter’s mission is to empower Asian-American business students as well as Rutgers Business School students through a variety of business-based events, networking opportunities, leadership development, and events to help business students in their undergraduate and professional journey.
As we are currently in reactivation, our chapter will attend various external Ascend events (conferences, virtual meetings, office hours, etc.) throughout the Fall 2025 Semester. In Spring 2026, we will continue visiting these external Ascend events as well as hosting professional and social events at RBS Newark.
Membership is free for students, and our club is open to any Rutgers-Newark student who wishes to learn more about the business field!
