Entrepreneurship Minor

For Non-Rutgers Business School students

Non-RBS students pursuing the entrepreneurship minor will take all 6 courses (18 credits). The suggested course track for this minor will be to first take the Preliminary Core Requirements designed to provide students with general business skills (9 credits), then take the Entrepreneurship Core courses (6 Credits), and finally select an elective (3 credits).

*Intro to Finance cannot be used for any RBS major; Students looking to complete a school to school transfer should not take this course.

**Finance Requires (29:010:203 Introduction to Financial Accounting, 29:010:204 Introduction to Managerial Accounting and 21:220:231 and 21:640:119 Basic Calculus)

Prior to enrolling in any of these courses, students must have completed English Comp (21:355:101) or equivalent and Algebra (21:640:109) or equivalent. The basic business skills courses are specialized versions of our existing business core courses. Students may substitute the relevant business core course for any of the basic business skills courses. Specifically, Accounting for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses (29:382:103) can be replaced with Introduction to Financial Accounting (29:010:203); Finance for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses (29:382:203) can be replaced with Introduction to Finance (29:390:330) which requires Basic calculus (29:640:119) ; and Marketing for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses (29:382:202) can be replaced with Introduction to Marketing (29:630:301).
