ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America) at Rutgers New Brunswick is committed to broadening horizons for Latino and allied students aspiring to grow as professional leaders. Through our committees, mentorship program, company engagements, skill-building workshops, and year-round initiatives, we deliver hands-on professional development, industry insights, and a strong network of peers, alumni, and corporate partners. Together we grow the ALPFAmilia and open doors to meaningful careers, community, and lifelong leadership.

About ALPFA

ALPFA Rutgers–New Brunswick is a student-led organization that equips Latino leaders and aspiring professionals from all majors with the skills, connections, and confidence to succeed. We host company engagements on Tuesday and Thursday evenings that offer direct access to industry professionals, and we run professional development workshops every other Wednesday focused on practical, résumé-ready skills. Through our committees and general meetings, members join a supportive community and tap into ALPFA’s national network of 100,000+ professionals and alumni. How can I join ALPFA?

  1. Attend Events: Start by coming to our events! Whether it’s a general meeting, a company event, or a professional development workshop, you’re welcome to participate and learn more about what we do. New members are welcome at any time, whether it is the beginning, middle, or end of the semester!
  2. Fill Out the General Membership Form: Make it official by completing our General Membership Application so we can stay connected with you through newsletters, updates, and opportunities.
